Seasonal update
Version 2.3.8 of the Alpine Village app is out now. Alpine Village is a fishing and hunting club on the Volga River in Russia's Astrakhan Region.
The app helps guests plan their stay, book tours, follow club news, watch photos and videos, explore base services and stay close to the club's main fishing tournaments.
It brings together news from the club, tournaments and boat center. On the home screen, users can choose the news feed they need, and during an active tournament the app can surface the most important information first.
Tour booking is now clearer: choose dates, a room, boat, guide or expert, add contact details and review the request before sending it. Contact details can be saved for future bookings.
The rooms, fleet and services sections make it easier to explore accommodation, boats, fishing guides, experts, the bath complex and additional club services.
Media is more convenient too. Photo galleries, trophies, videos, short clips and tournament materials are available in one place.
Tournaments and widgets
The app now works more deeply with the Zander&Pike and White Predator tournaments: news, result tables, athletes, partners, records and quick access to current information are grouped close together.
Tournament widgets can be added to the phone screen, so users can see the leaders without opening the app.
Club contacts, route details, phone numbers, social media links and the map remain close at hand. This is especially useful before a trip, when details need to be checked quickly.
What's new in this version
In this version, we updated the app for the season and made it more convenient for everyday use.
We added background data refresh, so news, services, tournaments and widgets are more often ready in advance. Notifications were improved too: they now open the right section or a specific news story, and notification history can be opened from settings.
Tour booking was rebuilt as a step-by-step form with a request review before sending. We also added home-feed selection and active tournament pinning on the home screen.
Results, athletes and news open faster thanks to caching. Videos, short clips, galleries and albums are easier to use, and settings sync through the cloud where supported.
We also fixed bugs and improved stability.
Alpine Village is located in the Narimanovsky District of the Astrakhan Region, on the right bank of the Volga. It is a place for trophy fishing, family trips, sporting events and travel with friends, while the app keeps the important details close: news, booking, services, tournaments, results, media and club contacts.
