AppsUpdater 1.2.2
AppsUpdater 1.2.2 is out now. This is a small but useful update for everyday checks: the found updates list is calmer, product analytics moved to TelemetryDeck, and the set of official direct sources is larger.
Update List
Found updates are now shown in stable alphabetical order. After checks, AppsUpdater also collapses duplicate rows for the same app, making the list easier to scan and compare.
The App Store check profile now lives only in the App Store settings. The duplicate control in the general update settings was removed, so the behavior is clearer.
TelemetryDeck Instead of AppMetrica
AppMetrica was removed from the app. AppsUpdater uses TelemetryDeck with the ru.app-plant namespace so aggregate product events land in the correct project.
Only aggregate events are sent: launch, scanning, update checks, update sources, detail views, installation, ignored updates, settings, Premium, and privileged helper events.
AppsUpdater does not send payment data, raw error text, app names, bundle IDs, URLs, IDFA, ad attribution, location, or cross-site identifiers.
More Official Direct Sources
Built-in official direct vendor routes were added for AnyDesk, RustDesk, UTM, Raspberry Pi Imager, BambuStudio, FreeCAD, qBittorrent, and OnyX.
qBittorrent now uses qbittorrent/qBittorrent GitHub Releases and picks the normal DMG, without SourceForge/HTML fallback. For OnyX, AppsUpdater reads the official download page, extracts the current version, and resolves the active DMG link during checks.
How to Update
If you already use AppsUpdater, version 1.2.2 will arrive through the built-in Sparkle updater. The new build is also available from the AppsUpdater page.
