AppsUpdater 1.2.3
AppsUpdater 1.2.3 is out now. This is a reliability-focused update for installation flows: App Store updates are verified more accurately after completion, the found updates list avoids more duplicates, and the UI stays calmer during post-install checks.
App Store and install verification
AppsUpdater now preserves the App Store identifier, delivered version, and fallback links more carefully when verifying an installation result. This fixes cases where an update was already installed on the Mac but could remain listed as available.
App Store installation progress is also throttled so SwiftUI does less work during download and installation.
Update list
After full checks, AppsUpdater now physically merges duplicate update rows that represent the same app. Post-install scans are debounced further, and successfully verified updates no longer trigger an unnecessary full scan.
Local versions are refreshed in batches after installation, so the list settles faster and with fewer visible jumps.
Stability and direct vendor
Double-resume races were fixed in the accurate App Store checker and the privileged helper XPC client. qBittorrent password saves in Keychain were moved off the main thread.
Direct vendor links with tokens are now resolved before download. This fixes some manual vendor download routes where the final file URL appears only after an intermediate redirect.
How to update
If you already use AppsUpdater, version 1.2.3 will arrive through the built-in Sparkle updater. The new build is also available from the AppsUpdater page.
