AppsUpdater 1.2.4
AppsUpdater 1.2.4 is now available. Its main addition is a safe Update All Official workflow that can start several ready updates from trusted sources without visiting every row manually.
A review plan before bulk updates
Before anything starts, AppsUpdater shows which apps are ready, where each update comes from, which version will be installed, and which items need attention.
Only ready official routes enter the shared queue. Manual, third-party, and incomplete routes do not start automatically; they are skipped with a clear explanation.
Accurate installation verification
A Mac App Store update is now complete only after AppsUpdater confirms the expected installed version. This reduces the chance of hiding a row too early or reporting completion before the update is actually installed.
The release also fixes duplicate apps and entries that could disappear from the updates list prematurely.
Performance, recovery, and security
Application scanning, version checks, download progress, and dashboard updates are more responsive. Recovery from local database loading failures is more robust, and long-running downloads, helper operations, and installer subprocesses are more reliable.
Privileged installation, per-supporter Premium credentials, and diagnostic privacy also receive stronger protection.
How to update
Version 1.2.4 is available through the built-in Sparkle updater and from the AppsUpdater page.
