What is new in version 3.23
We prepared a major VAVT Schedule update for the new academic year. In version 3.23, the app is better at finding the right information, easier to use for schedules and more native in the areas where a WebView used to be less convenient.
The main addition is unified VAVT search. From one screen, you can now search news, teachers, administration, departments, faculties, contacts and campus information. This is especially useful when you need to quickly find a department, a staff member or important academy information.
The schedule has also been refreshed. The app now includes a weekly feed, faster profile switching and support for an additional schedule in Premium. We also improved caching and prepared the app for smoother use at the start of the academic year.
News, useful information and Premium
In-app news now feels closer to a native app section: there are feed modes, native article details, important news and cleaner in-app notifications. Useful Information is more practical too, with favorites, quick actions, offline statuses and more native sections without WebView.
Premium features are now easier to understand inside the app. Schedule widgets, news and update notifications, iCloud sync and background refresh are more visible and simpler to configure.
We also refreshed the visual side of the app: there is a new launch screen, the VAVT logo in the menu, alternate app icons, improved widgets and a refined dark theme. This release also includes many smaller fixes, faster caching and stability improvements.
